The next-generation Sierra 1500 introduces all-new V8 gas engines engineered to deliver impressive power and durability. The available 6.6L V8 produces 481 horsepower and 501 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in its class. Its aluminum block, cast iron cylinder liners, six-bolt main bearing caps, and aluminum heads create a strong yet lightweight foundation. The available 5.7L V8 produces 402 horsepower and 428 lb.-ft. of torque with a maximum towing capacity of 13,500 pounds. Both engines feature updated throttle bodies, dual fuel injection, revised compression ratios, and increased displacement. Up to six available drive modes help drivers adapt the Sierra to different road, weather, towing, and off-road conditions. AT4X models add an exclusive Baja mode designed for demanding off-road driving.
